We are excited at the changes coming to our website (so please excuse the mess while we update).
We need YOU for Wildland Fire Season 2023. The Yarnell Fire District offers top pay for qualified individuals.
YFD is a State Cooperator with the AZ Dept. of Forestry and Fire Management. To begin the process, please download the application (click here), complete it then submit and introduce yourself to Nina Bour-Beau at N.BourBeau@YarnellFire.com. **Please be sure to include your credentials on the application. Note that YFD is a drug-free workplace and a criminal background check is required.
Please take a moment to look around. Our non-emergency phone number is easy to find on the bottom right of every page (along with our physical addresses).
Want to view past agendas, minutes or notices? No problem, look at the bottom of the page (any page) on the left and you’ll see a “View Document Archives” button – click it to have a look.
The menu at the top of the page (above the header picture) will take you to our Mission & Purpose, Our Board of Directors and Our Contact Form.
Stay up to date on various information of interest, by checking out our posts on the right hand side of the page – we’ve posted a new post to remind people to sign up for alertYavapai which has replaced CodeRed for emergency notifications.
We will be working on our website for a little bit longer, but we hope it will provide you with easy to find information that is pertinent to our area (fire restrictions, tips & hints for weather related issues and various other notifications).
